What is an auction sniper, and why use one?

What is an auction sniper?
It is a service that places a bid on your behalf shortly before an auction ends. You choose the item, the maximum bid and the timing in advance.
Does a late bid guarantee a win?
No. A higher competing bid, auction restrictions or a technical issue can prevent a win. A sniper helps with timing; it cannot guarantee the result or a lower price.
Will I always pay my maximum bid?
Not necessarily. Your maximum is your limit, not a promise of the final price. The auction platform determines the price according to its bidding rules. Shipping and other charges may apply separately.
Do I need to leave my computer on?
No. Once your bid is saved in Rapidcatch, our servers handle it. You can close the browser and go offline.
Can I change or cancel a bid?
Yes, before the sniper starts placing it. Make changes in your account well ahead of the scheduled bid time. A bid already sent to an auction is subject to that platform’s rules.
